1 dead, 2 injured in Horn Lake restaurant shooting
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person was shot to death, and two others were injured in a shooting at a restaurant in Horn Lake, Mississippi, Sunday night.
Officers say they responded to a shots-fired call at Kabuki Hibachi & Juicy Seafood & Bar, located at 749 Goodman Road, around 8:30 p.m.
Upon their arrival, one male victim was found unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police reported.
He was taken to Baptist DeSoto Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Justin Conrad, according to authorities.
As Horn Lake police were investigating the scene, they said they were notified of a second male victim, suffering from a single gunshot wound, who showed up at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
Officers identified the second victim as Conrad’s twin brother.
The twin brother was transported from Baptist East to Regional One Hospital, where he was last listed in stable condition.
A third male victim also showed up at Regional One with a gunshot wound to the leg, the police report stated.
Over the course of the investigation, Horn Lake police said they learned the third male victim, who was identified as 25-year-old Marterius McShane, had shot Conrad, his twin brother, then left the scene.
As McShane attempted to leave the area, officers mentioned that he was shot in the leg by an unknown party that fired shots in his direction.
McShane has been detained at Regional One on an outstanding warrant for murder in the shooting death of Conrad, police said.
Authorities say the shooter has not been identified and that investigators are working to learn the identity of the person who shot McShane.
This is still an active investigation, and if anyone has information about this shooting incident, you are urged to contact the Horn Lake Police Department at 662-393-6174.
