Abdullai expressed satisfaction with Hearts of Oak’s win, insisting that the result had answered the comments and confidence shown by Port City supporters ahead of the encounter.

“Port City fans were talking too much, and we have shown them their level,” he said.

The Hearts of Oak official’s remarks came after the Phobians secured all three points in a closely contested fixture, giving their supporters reason to celebrate while leaving Port City to reflect on the defeat.

The victory is an important result for Hearts as they seek to build consistency in the league and strengthen their position in the ongoing campaign. Winning against a newly promoted team also gives the Phobians an opportunity to maintain momentum as the competition progresses.

For Port City, the defeat will serve as a setback in their efforts to establish themselves in the top flight. The club will be expected to regroup and focus on its upcoming fixtures as it continues to adjust to the demands of the Premier League.

Abdullai’s comments have added an extra layer of rivalry to the contest, turning the post-match discussion beyond the result and towards the exchanges between supporters of the two clubs.

However, the decisive outcome remains Hearts of Oak’s 1-0 win, which secured the Phobians the points and gave Abdullai the opportunity to deliver his pointed response to Port City fans.
