The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said it was called at 3:34 p.m. Thursday.
The investigation led to the arrest of Raphael A. Germain, 36, of Wilton.
Germain was charged with aggravated family offense, first-degree criminal contempt and third-degree criminal mischief, all class E felonies, as well as second-degree harassment, a violation.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Germain is accused of committing a specified offense under the statute after having previously been convicted of a specified offense within the immediately preceding five years.
He was also charged with violating an order of protection by breaking the victim’s cell phone by stomping on it and subjecting the victim to unlawful physical contact. The Sheriff’s Office said the cell phone was valued at more than $250.
Germain was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
