“Welcome to another chapter of my life”— Regina Daniels reveals why she’s celebrating on wheelchair

According to a report by Ghanaweb on Sunday, October 11, 2026, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about months of severe pain and limited mobility, appearing in a wheelchair in a video marking her 25th birthday.

In the Instagram video posted on Saturday, October 10, 2026, she said she is slowly recovering and explained her long absence from social media.

Daniels, a mother of two, said the problem started as something minor but worsened until she could no longer move around freely. She said it took a sharper turn after the children’s day carnival she hosted, her last public event. A series of medical tests followed, and the pain eventually became unbearable. On some days she could walk, on others she could barely move, and she often cried.

She said she has turned to God for healing and left her fate in his hands. She wondered how someone once so full of energy had ended up so limited, and admitted that depending on others for even the simplest tasks has been hard.

Daniels said she felt able to speak now because of significant progress in her recovery. She revealed that she moved to be closer to her children, first renting a home before deciding to buy it. According to her, everything in the house has since come as a gift, including a piece of furniture from a woman introduced to her by her hairstylist, Ellie.

She described the year as one of abundant blessings and thanked God for what he has done and what he is yet to do.
