“WayvePay Is Not Registered To Solicit Investments From The Public” — SEC Warns Nigerians Against Online Investment Platform

The Securities and Exchange Commission has warned Nigerians against investing through WayvePay, an online investment platform which it said is not registered to solicit investments from the public or operate in any capacity within the Nigerian capital market.The Commission issued the warning in a statement titled, “Suspected Fraudulent Activities of WayvePay”, cautioning members of the public against dealing with the platform or its representatives in relation to investments.
