Watch: Ndoye gives Forest early lead but Palace hit back
/ Football News / Premier League News Watch: Ndoye gives Forest early lead but Palace hit back It was one-way traffic for most of the first half, but the hosts fought back.
Dan Ndoye produced a clinical finish to give Nottingham Forest the lead inside the opening five minutes of their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
The Switzerland international pounced on an error from Anan Khalaili before stroking the ball into the far corner on what was, for the first 40 minutes at least, a happy return to Selhurst Park for Forest boss Oliver Glasner.

The visitors were dominant from the off, and should have extended their advantage before the break when Morgan Gibbs-White’s effort from distance cam back off the bar to the feet of Liam Delap.
But with the entire goal to aim at, the Forest striker blasted a volley straight at Palace keeper Walter Benitez, who threw his body in the way to somehow prevent the ball from crossing the line.
Delap again squandered a chance moments later when he diverted his back-post header the wrong side of the post.
The missed chances would prove costly. Having rarely ventured into Forest’s defensive third, Palace drew level on 40 minutes when Daichi Kamada prodded home entirely against the run of play.
The first-half comeback was complete when Jefferson Lerma bundled in from an Adam Wharton corner after Matz Sels had just moments earlier made a brilliant save from Tyrick Mitchell.
