Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has described Victor Osimhen as a “fantastic striker” ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League encounter with Galatasaray.

The Blaugrana are set to face the Turkish champions in a Matchday Two fixture at RAMS Park on Tuesday.

Osimhen returned to action for Galatasaray in Friday’s 3-1 victory over Kasimpasa after missing the club’s previous three matches due to injury.

The Nigerian striker came on as a substitute in the encounter and is now expected to feature in the starting lineup against Barcelona.

Flick acknowledged the threat posed by the former Napoli forward, insisting that his team must be at its best to secure a positive result against the Turkish side.

“Galatasaray have a fantastic striker like Osimhen. They really have a great squad. We need to be ready for this match. We have to play our best football against Galatasaray,” Flick was quoted by Ahaber.

Galatasaray will be eager to bounce back from their opening-day defeat to Sporting Lisbon as they prepare to welcome the Spanish giants to Istanbul.
