Sifuna Ally Anyamah Wa Anyamah’s Whereabouts Emerge After Family Raises Alarm Over Alleged Arrest

Digital creator Anyamah Wa Anyamah, a vocal supporter of Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and critic of the government, was reportedly traced to Kinoo Police Station on Sunday, October 11, 2026, after his alleged arrest sparked concern among his family, friends and supporters.

The development followed reports that officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) had picked him up, leaving people close to him struggling to establish his whereabouts.

Abbie Zuena, a public relations and communications strategist associated with the Linda Mwananchi Movement, raised the alarm on social media, saying Anyamah had allegedly been taken by DCI officers but had not been presented at a police station.

Zuena called on Kenyans to share information about the incident and urged the authorities to ensure that Anyamah was safe and that his case was handled through the proper legal procedures.

She said the family and friends were unable to trace him, raising questions about where he had been taken after the reported arrest.

In her appeal, Zuena demanded that Anyamah be returned safely or formally presented before the relevant authorities and charged in accordance with the law if there were grounds for prosecution.

She also expressed concern about the safety of young people in police custody, arguing that cases involving people whose whereabouts are unknown after alleged arrests should be treated seriously.

The situation attracted further attention after followers noticed Anyamah’s last social media post, which read, “Tumsifu Yesu Kristo,” a Swahili phrase meaning “Let us praise Jesus Christ.”

The message was published roughly two hours before concerns about his whereabouts spread online. Although the post did not directly indicate that he was in danger, it prompted followers to seek confirmation that he was safe.

Anyamah is known for his outspoken political views and support for Sifuna and the Linda Mwananchi Movement, which has featured prominently in political discussions surrounding the government’s leadership.

Anyamah reportedly traced to Kinoo Police Station

In a subsequent update, Zuena said one of Anyamah’s contacts had managed to reach him and that he was being held in the cells at Kinoo Police Station.

However, she alleged that he had not been formally booked and that there was no official occurrence book (OB) number documenting his detention at the time of her statement.

According to Zuena, those at the station indicated that officers from Kakamega were expected to collect him, even though the alleged arrest had taken place in Nairobi.

Her account raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the reported arrest, the handling of the detention and whether the relevant police records had been completed.

Zuena said those following the matter would continue seeking clarification and updates.

As of the account provided in the report, the DCI had not issued a public statement explaining the circumstances of Anyamah’s alleged arrest. The claims about his detention and the absence of formal booking records had not been independently confirmed.

The incident came amid separate reports of arrests involving people expressing support for Sifuna.

Bumula MP Jack Wamboka was also reported to have confronted police officers during the arrest of youths chanting in support of the senator. Video footage of the roadside confrontation showed Wamboka challenging the officers and attempting to secure the youths’ release.

Wamboka reportedly criticised the arrests, portraying them as politically motivated and arguing that citizens should be allowed to express opposition to President William Ruto’s administration within the law.

The circumstances surrounding Anyamah’s reported detention remained a subject of concern, with supporters seeking clarity from the authorities over the allegations and the procedures followed after his arrest.
