Sad Evening as Missing Kenyan Man in Uk is Found Dead

A Kenyan nursing student has been found dead in the River Cam, days after he was reported missing, leaving the Kenyan community in the UK and back home in shock.

The deceased, identified as Nelbert, was enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme at Anglia Ruskin University.

He and his roommate reportedly left for work on the morning of Thursday, October 8, but he never returned home.

A missing person’s report was subsequently filed.

British police later recovered the body of a Black male from the river and linked the discovery to that report.

Authorities allegedly used a toothbrush in the DNA process to confirm the identity of the deceased.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and police are expected to release more details as investigations progress.

The news has left many Kenyans both in the UK and at home deeply shaken, and they are awaiting official confirmation and further information from the authorities.

Anglia Ruskin University is a public institution based in Cambridge, with additional campuses in Chelmsford and London.

It hosts a significant number of international students, including many Kenyans who travel to the UK to pursue healthcare and nursing qualifications.

Nelbert had travelled to the UK to study nursing but disappeared shortly after settling in.
