(WKRC) — Police say they discovered nearly 100 mature marijuana plants while responding to reports of unlawful camping near Highway 99 and 99th Street.

During the investigation, officers found a large encampment with multiple hazardous conditions, according to authorities.

Clark County Public Works and the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board were called to the scene to assist.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute, along with several misdemeanor offenses, police said.
