LinkThe Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears renew the NFL’s oldest and most-played rivalry today when they meet at Lambeau Field. The two teams will play for the 214th time, including regular season and playoffs, with the Packers holding a 109-98-6 lead overall in the series.
This week’s game was moved from a 3:25 PM Central Time start up to an early, 12:00 Noon game after the first few weeks of the season. Bears starting quarterback Caleb Williams is officially listed as questionable for the game after practicing on Friday, the first time he participated in practice since his hamstring a few weeks ago. Still, he was limited on Friday and is probably unlikely to play, with Tyson Bagent expected to start the game.
Instead, the Bears have a few other key players who are listed as out for this week’s game. Slot cornerback Kyler Gordon and running back Kyle Monangai will both be inactive today, putting more pressure on D’Andre Swift to take on a bigger role in the running game.
The Packers, meanwhile, are hoping that Kevin Zeitler will be ready to go at right guard to further help bolster the running game. With running back Chris Brooks now on injured reserve, Pierre Strong will roll up into a gameday role, likely on special teams as well as taking some snaps as a third-down back.
Here’s how and when to tune in for today’s big divisional matchup.
