Overnight crash in Gray leaves one dead, others injured

GRAY, Maine (WABI) – A person was killed after a crash on I-95 north in Gray Friday night.

It happened just before midnight on the northbound side of the interstate.

State Police say the driver, 31-year-old Megan Stuart of Auburn was driving north when she swerved to avoid a deer and lost control.

Another car driving north then crashed head-on into Stuart’s car.

Officials say Stuart was taken to a Portland hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

State Police say the passenger in Stuart’s car, 38-year-old Soda Mao of Auburn died at the scene.

We’re told the driver and passenger in the other car suffered minor injuries.
