Over 20% of city’s illegal factories spreading pollution; MCD seals 1,557 units

New Delhi: Over 20% of units operating in Delhi’s non-conforming industrial areas were found violating air or water pollution norms during Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) inspections between Dec 1, 2025, and Sept 30, 2026. The civic body sealed 1,557 units.
