Old Video of Kojo Bamba’s Heated Physical Confrontation With Seidu MBA Resurfaces

The election of Kwadwo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) First Vice Chairman has sparked debate within the party and among the Ghanaian public.

Kojo Bamba’s victory in the party’s recently concluded national executive elections has drawn mixed reactions, with supporters welcoming his elevation while critics express concerns about its possible implications for Ghana’s political environment.

Supporters argue that his background and experience could help strengthen the party’s ability to defend itself against attacks, particularly during election periods.

However, critics believe his election could undermine efforts to eliminate political party vigilantism and revive concerns associated with the activities of political vigilante groups.

Amid the debate, an old video showing a confrontation between Kojo Bamba and Seidu MBA has resurfaced on social media, attracting attention because of the concerns surrounding the former vigilante leader’s new political position.

In the footage, Seidu MBA, who describes himself as the personal bodyguard of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and has frequently been seen in the company of operatives of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), is seen confronting Kojo Bamba.

The disagreement reportedly stemmed from derogatory comments Kojo Bamba was alleged to have made at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

Seidu MBA appeared visibly angry during the confrontation, challenging Kojo Bamba over the alleged remarks and questioning why he had been described as a thief despite their previous interactions.

The situation escalated when Seidu shoved one of the men accompanying Kojo Bamba. The man attempted to push him back, heightening tensions between the two sides.

Police officers at the scene, assisted by other individuals, intervened and separated the men before the confrontation could escalate into physical violence.
