Meghan Markle offered a rare glimpse inside her new British life with children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The As Ever founder shared a sweet video of her kids on her Instagram Stories on October 11. In the clip, her children could be seen in a sunny park. Archie, wearing a blue backback, rode a scooter, while Lilibet walked beside him with a pink backpack. Meghan layered the song “My Girl” over the clip.
Meghan also shared a new post on October 11 to mark the International Day of the Girl. “Small acts of care can make a big difference for parents, for caregivers, for moms,” she wrote, before announcing that Archewell Philanthropies would be collaborating with Moms Offering More to support families.
The post comes shortly after Meghan stepped out for a lunch date with activist Malala Yousafzai, per Daily Mail.
Meghan, her husband Prince Harry, and their two kids relocated to the U.K. in late August after spending six years in California. Archie and Lilibet have reportedly started school in England. After a few days at one school, the kids reportedly moved to a new school.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told People the move was due to security concerns. “The decision for the children to move schools was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements,” the spokesperson said. “The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family. This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there.”
Making rare comments about the family’s move, Harry recently shared, “It’s been great. It’s been great to be back on British soil.”
He added that “the kids are happy in school.”
