Man nabbed with items stolen from slain Mamelodi twins

MAMELODI – A man has been found in possession of items belonging to the murdered Mamelodi twins. 

Bonolo and  Botlhale  Makena were found stabbed to death in their bedroom earlier this month. 

Cellphones and a PS4 console were stolen during the attack. 

Their mother, Miriam Makena, made the horrific discovery and is still waiting for answers. 

“I want the police to find out who were the people who broke into my home and killed my sons. Children are innocent. They were just children, only 14 years old. They know nothing – they only play with their peers.  

“Should I see the suspect, I will ask him why? What did he kill them? What did he want? Why didn’t he take whatever he wanted; furniture, phones or the PS4 he took and leave my children alone?”
