Kisii Man Elijah Momanyi Claims To Be Son Of Zimbabwean Tycoon Wicknell Chivayo

Kenyans have been left in shock after a man identified as Elijah Momanyi from Keumbu in Kisii County claimed to be the son of Zimbabwean business tycoon Wicknell Chivayo.

Momanyi made the surprising claims in a video that has since gone viral on social media. In the clip, he boldly states that he is the biological son of the flamboyant Zimbabwean businessman, sparking massive debate online.

According to Momanyi, he has been following the life of Wicknell Chivayo for a long time and believes there is a strong connection between them. He further claimed that the late tag associated with Chivayo is a misunderstanding, as the tycoon is actually alive and well known for his luxury lifestyle and generous spending in Zimbabwe.

Wicknell Chivayo, popularly known as Sir Wicknell, is one of Zimbabwe’s most famous and controversial businessmen. He is known for his close ties with the ruling party ZANU PF, his tender business and his habit of gifting expensive cars and cash to musicians and social media influencers.

The claims by the Kisii man have elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans and Zimbabweans alike. Many Kenyans in the comment section have dismissed the claims as clout chasing, while others have asked him to provide DNA evidence to support his allegations.

Some users noted that Momanyi bears little resemblance to the tycoon, while others joked that Chivayo has many alleged children across Africa due to his flamboyant lifestyle.

Wicknell Chivayo himself has not yet responded to the claims. The businessman is very active on social media and is known for addressing rumours head on.

The story raises questions about identity and the growing trend of Kenyans claiming links to wealthy foreign tycoons for fame. Whether Momanyi’s claims have any truth remains to be seen.

For now, the burden of proof lies with him. Kenyans are waiting to see if he will provide concrete evidence or if this will end up as just another viral social media stunt.
