According to a report by The BBC Ghana today being Sunday, October 11, 2026, President John Dramani Mahama has attended a church service with his family at the Ringway Gospel Centre of the Assemblies of God Church following his return from Sunyani.

The President had travelled to Sunyani as part of the Ahafo Region leg of his “Resetting Ghana Tour,” which has taken him to different parts of the country for engagements with communities and stakeholders. After completing his activities in the area, he returned to join his family for worship at the church in Accra.

Mahama’s presence at the Ringway Gospel Centre was captured as part of his activities following the regional tour. He and his family joined other congregants for the service, participating in the church gathering after his engagements outside the capital.

The “Resetting Ghana Tour” provides the President with opportunities to interact with Ghanaians, listen to concerns from local communities and discuss issues connected to national development.

Through the visits, the administration also has the opportunity to engage with stakeholders on challenges and priorities in different parts of the country.

His recent trip to Sunyani formed part of these nationwide engagements, with the Ahafo Region serving as the focus of that leg of the tour.

Following his return, the President’s decision to worship with his family at the Ringway Gospel Centre brought attention to his participation in religious activities alongside his official responsibilities.

The Assemblies of God Church is among the Christian denominations with congregations across Ghana, where regular services provide opportunities for worship, fellowship and spiritual reflection.

Details about the sermon delivered during the service or any remarks made by the President were not included in the report. Nevertheless, his attendance with his family marked one of his activities after returning from the Ahafo Region leg of the “Resetting Ghana Tour.”

The President is expected to continue his official duties as his nationwide engagements bring him into contact with communities across Ghana.
