How the Pixel 11 referral programme works
Google has relaunched its Pixel referral programme, offering eligible customers a 10% discount on selected Pixel smartphones and rewarding existing Pixel users with $50 in Google Store credit for each qualifying purchase.
The campaign runs from October 1 to November 4, 2026, allowing eligible Pixel users to share referral codes with friends. Buyers can use the codes at checkout to receive the discount, while the person who referred them earns store credit once the purchase meets the programme’s conditions.
Eligible users can refer up to 10 people, potentially earning a total of $500 in Google Store credit.
According to technology publication BGR, eligible users can visit Google’s referral page to enter a friend’s email address or copy a referral code and share it directly.
Buyers can apply the code at checkout when purchasing an eligible device through the Google Store. The participating phones listed for the campaign are:
If a customer adds multiple eligible phones to their basket, the discount applies to the device with the highest value.
Referral codes begin with “REF”, followed by 23 alphanumeric characters. Buyers can use only one referral code per purchase.
The referrer receives $50 in Google Store credit for each qualifying purchase, but the reward is not issued immediately.
According to the report, the credit typically arrives around 15 days after the buyer’s return period ends. That period can extend to 30 days after purchase.
If the buyer returns the device, the referral reward is voided. Each credit expires 365 days after it is issued.
The programme is limited to eligible participants in the United States.
To qualify for the discount, buyers must be at least 18 years old, reside in the US, be signed in to a Google account and have a US-registered Google Pay profile with a valid payment method. They must also not have previously used a referral code from the programme.
The referral discount may be combined with certain offers, including eligible trade-in deals and carrier promotions.
However, it cannot be combined with introductory offers for newly launched Pixel devices or certain major promotional events, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday and December holiday promotions.
Google also reserves the right to modify or terminate the programme under its terms and conditions.
The Pixel referral programme first launched in November 2022, following the release of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Since then, Google has periodically brought it back, with rewards and conditions varying between campaigns.
