Bechem United produced an impressive second-half fightback to beat Vision FC 4-2 at the Nana Gyeabour Park in Week Six of the Ghana Premier League.

The Hunters recovered from a first-half lead and a subsequent deficit to score three times late in the game and secure all three points in an entertaining encounter.

Emmanuel Kobi put Bechem ahead in the 39th minute, giving the hosts a deserved advantage heading into the break.

Vision FC, however, came out strongly after the restart and turned the game around within seven minutes. Benjamin Kwarteng equalised in the 47th minute before Ruben Quaye scored five minutes later to put the visitors 2-1 ahead.

Bechem responded with renewed determination and continued to push for an equaliser as they sought to avoid another disappointing result.

Their persistence paid off in the 63rd minute when Yaw Acheampong found the net to bring the Hunters level at 2-2 and set up a tense finish.

Kofi Tompuo then struck in the 87th minute to restore Bechem’s lead, sending the home supporters into celebration.

The hosts added a fourth in stoppage time when Sam-an Mohammed turned the ball into his own net in the 90+3rd minute, sealing a memorable 4-2 victory for Bechem United.

The result lifts Bechem to seventh place in the league standings, providing a timely boost after their recent struggles.

Vision FC, meanwhile, drop to 15th, just above the relegation zone, after another difficult outing.

Bechem will next travel to face Basake Holy Stars, while Vision FC prepare to host Hearts of Oak as they look to get their campaign back on track.
