2026/27 Ghana Premier League: Hearts of Oak vs Port City – Preview, Team News, Lineups, Channels, Kickoff & Prediction

Hearts of Oak will host Port City FC at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon on Sunday, October 11, in a match-week six fixture of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians head into the game without a win in their last three matches, having recorded two draws and a defeat.

Their most recent outing ended in a goalless draw against Dreams FC, leaving them eager to return to winning ways.

The Rainbow Club have recorded two wins, two draws and one defeat in their opening five matches. However, they face a Port City side enjoying an encouraging start to its debut top-flight campaign.

The ‘Adonteng’ Royals bounced back from a defeat to Medeama SC with a 3-1 victory over Bechem United in their last game.

Hamza Zakari scored, while Owusu Ansah netted twice to help the newbies secure their third win of the season.

Hearts of Oak will be without youngster Alex Banso, who remains their major absentee for the match.

First-choice goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, however, returns to the team after assignment with the Black Stars in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.

Port City coach Christopher Ennin will also have forward Ransford Lartey available again after the attacker missed their previous match through suspension.
