Vance’s ‘indentured servants’ remark deeply offensive: Government

NEW DELHI: Following a long period of strained India-US ties, the gloves came off finally as India hit out at US Vice President JD Vance for labelling H-1B visa holders and foreign tech professionals as foreign indentured servants, a characterisation New Delhi slammed as deeply offensive and unwarranted.
