US wildlife partners spent years protecting more than 1,700 acres along Wisconsin’s Lake Superior shore; the project has restored wetlands, treated invasive plants and reconnected cold-water habitat

The project brought together the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and Landmark Conservancy, a nonprofit organisation based in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
