Applications are now open for the 2027 World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship Program. The Government Analytics Fellowship aims to strengthen the capacity of government officials to use government data to improve administrative functioning and decision-making. Building on the pioneering Government Analytics Handbook, the Fellowship provides participants with the knowledge, tools, and support to turn government data into actionable insights and develop projects that address real institutional challenges.

– Online-only: A self-paced virtual experience designed to provide greater accessibility and flexibility for government officials balancing their professional responsibilities.

– Immersive In-person: Designed for fellows who can dedicate substantial time and effort to developing and completing a government analytics project. This track will competitively select a small cohort of government officials with strategically relevant projects who are willing and able to commit to an intensive six-month program. This commitment should be both individually and institutional support.

– Regional hub: Where we will hold more localized fellowships centered around regional hubs.

Each fellow receives dedicated mentoring from a World Bank expert in the field related to their fellowship project.

Take part in a two-week immersive experience in Washington, D.C., working intensively with World Bank staff, academics, experts, and fellow government practitioners.
