Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels recently opened up about her silent health battles and extended absence from social media, revealing that she has been dealing with severe physical pain that severely restricted her mobility.

The movie star shared the update in a candid birthday video posted on her Instagram page as she celebrated her 25th birthday, appearing in a wheelchair to mark her silver jubilee.

Reflecting on the difficult period, Daniels explained that what originally started out as a minor health issue gradually worsened over several months, eventually robbing her of her freedom of movement.

She noted that her condition escalated significantly following the Children’s Day carnival, which was the last major public gathering she hosted.

The actress described the physical toll as excruciating, noting that her ability to walk became completely unpredictable from day to day. Because of the endless cycle of medical examinations and hospital visits, she humorously referred to herself as a “lab rat.”

Expressing her emotional vulnerability, Daniels admitted that the ordeal brought her to tears while she relied heavily on faith and prayers for divine healing.

She explained that she chose to address her followers directly in the wheelchair video to clear up confusion regarding her prolonged social media absence and to thank those who reached out with genuine concern.
