Real Madrid Face Crucial Month as Mbappé Returns to Training

Real Madrid are heading into a demanding period after the international break, with major LaLiga and Champions League fixtures set to test the team in the coming weeks.

Matches against Villarreal, Barcelona and Sevilla, alongside a European trip to face Roma, could have a significant impact on Madrid’s season.

Barcelona reportedly hold a five-point lead over Real Madrid in LaLiga, increasing the pressure on José Mourinho’s side to close the gap before it becomes more difficult to recover.

Concerns have also emerged about the atmosphere inside the Real Madrid dressing room.

Spanish football commentator Antón Meana recently questioned whether the squad’s internal relationships had improved, suggesting that tensions remained despite changes at the club.

He also referred to reported disagreements involving players and previous coaching figures. However, no names or specific details were provided about the alleged incidents, meaning the claims remain unconfirmed.

With important matches approaching, maintaining unity and keeping the squad focused will be essential for Madrid.

One positive development is Kylian Mbappé’s return to training with his teammates at Valdebebas.

The forward reportedly completed his first session with the group on Wednesday after initially working separately earlier in the week.

According to the information available, Mbappé could be available for Saturday’s match against Villarreal following concerns about his knee. His fitness and whether he starts, however, will depend on the coaching staff’s assessment.

His return would provide a significant boost to Madrid as they prepare for a busy run of fixtures.

Attention will now turn to Saturday’s meeting with Villarreal, where Madrid will look to maintain their challenge in LaLiga.

Mbappé’s condition, the team’s performances and the atmosphere within the dressing room will all attract attention as the club enters a crucial stage of the campaign.

With Barcelona holding an advantage in the title race and demanding European fixtures approaching, Real Madrid have little room for unnecessary setbacks.

The coming weeks could reveal whether Mourinho’s team can find the consistency and unity needed to compete on both fronts.
