Prosecutors seek to interview minors in Kroy Biermann Jr. criminal case

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Fulton County prosecutors have filed an emergency motion to conduct forensic interviews with minor children as part of its criminal case against the son of reality TV star Kim Zolciak and former Atlanta Falcon Kroy Biermann.

On Thursday, prosecutors also filed a motion to modify the bond conditions for Kroy Biermann Jr., who is facing seven felony charges related to an alleged sexual assault on April 23, 2026, at a metro Atlanta fitness center.

Last week, Fulton County Magistrate Court Judge Cassandra Kirk granted bond for Biermann Jr. Specific terms and the dollar amount of the bond were not immediately released, but during a bond hearing, attorneys had proposed conditions that included placing the teen on curfew, requiring an ankle monitor, restricting social media use, and releasing him into the custody of his mother with orders not to travel between her home and his father’s.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office had requested a $190,000 bond.

Biermann Jr. was indicted by a Gwinnett County grand jury on charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment. He was arrested on Aug. 17, according to court records.

According to a redacted Alpharetta Police Department incident report, an officer responded to Wellstar North Fulton Hospital on April 24 regarding a reported sexual assault. The report stated the alleged incident occurred the previous day inside a Lifetime Fitness Center changing room.
