Muzaffargarh DC orders immediate removal of garbage
MUZAFFARGARH – In line with the vision and directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Commissioner Hafiz Usman Tahir Jappa chaired a meeting on Friday to review measures for improving the city’s sanitation system and ensuring the immediate removal of garbage from various areas.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Services) Muhammad Yousaf Cheena briefed the meeting on the ongoing cleanliness operation and sanitation arrangements across the city.
The meeting reviewed measures aimed at providing citizens with a clean, healthy and pleasant environment, ensuring the timely removal and disposal of waste, and further improving the municipal sanitation system.

Cheena said garbage accumulating in different parts of the city was being removed on a priority basis, while available resources were being utilised to ensure that the cleanliness operation continued without interruption.
He said practical measures were also being taken to promptly address temporary issues affecting sanitation arrangements so that difficulties faced by citizens could be resolved and normal cleanliness routines maintained across the city.
The deputy commissioner directed the relevant officials to ensure effective monitoring of sanitation operations in all parts of the city and ordered the immediate removal of accumulated garbage. He stressed that no negligence or delay in cleanliness operations would be tolerated.

Mr Jappa said a clean environment was a basic right of citizens and that the district administration was utilising all available resources to provide the public with improved municipal services in accordance with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision.
