Minnie Dlamini Claims She Paid R1.5 Million for Her Lavish Wedding as Ex-Husband Contributed Nothing

South African media personality Minnie Dlamini has reportedly surprised fans after making claims about who financed her extravagant 2017 wedding to her former husband, Quinton Jones.

According to the circulating account, Dlamini revealed that she personally covered the entire cost of the lavish celebration, spending approximately R1.5 million to make the occasion memorable.

What has attracted the most attention is her alleged claim that Jones did not contribute financially towards the wedding.

The revelation has reportedly sparked discussions on social media, with many people debating financial responsibilities in relationships and the expectations couples face when planning expensive weddings.

Dlamini and Jones tied the knot in 2017 in a high-profile celebration that attracted considerable public attention. Their relationship was closely followed by fans, making news about their marriage and subsequent separation a subject of interest among entertainment audiences.

The latest claims have prompted questions about the financial arrangements behind their wedding and how couples should approach major expenses before getting married.

While some social media users have expressed surprise at the reported amount, others have stressed that financial agreements between partners are personal matters that depend on individual circumstances.

However, the claims about who paid for the wedding should be treated cautiously unless confirmed through a reliable source or a direct statement from Dlamini.

The discussion has once again placed the television personality’s past marriage in the spotlight, demonstrating the continued public interest in the private lives of South African celebrities.
