"There’s no other show in the world like Blue Peter, it’s all about adventure and not being afraid to try new things. Where else would you find a presenter trying to cross the Irish Sea in a Zorb ball, or walk a tightrope between the chimneys of Battersea Power Station?

Growing up all of my role models were the people I watched online and on television, so now I want show kids that you can go out and do whatever you want to do, take on a challenge, big or small! It's a privilege to join a programme with such an incredible legacy, and I can't wait to meet the audience, take on new challenges, and go on some unforgettable adventures together."

Leo is a natural storyteller whose creativity, positivity and sense of adventure make him a perfect fit for Blue Peter. His determination, passion for adventure, and ability to inspire others reflect everything that we stand for, and everything that you do to earn your Blue Peter badges!

When he was younger, Leo was inspired by Blue Peter Presenter Helen Skelton's daredevil challenges and Leo will be aiming to become a bit of a daredevil himself. You'll be able to watch Leo attempt to earn his Blue Peter badge by joining a formation skydive for his very first Blue Peter challenge on BBC iPlayer very soon… Can he earn his badge whilst falling rapidly from 15,000ft high in the sky?

Check out the clip below and watch the rest of his skydive on his first show, coming 20th November at 5pm on CBBC and BBC iPlayer.

We're sure that you'll love getting to know Leo and watching him take part in epic challenges later this year.
