J&K HC Quashes PSA Order Over Unexplained Delay

Srinagar- The High Court of J&K and Ladakh on Friday quashed a preventive detention order under the Public Safety Act (PSA) against youth from Anantnag, observing that unexplained delays by the police and the detaining authority had severed the “live and proximate link” between the alleged activities and the need for his detention.
