Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi scored for Kasımpasa, but his goal was not enough to prevent a 3-1 defeat against Galatasaray in the Turkish Süper Lig.

Galatasaray captain Abdülkerim Bardakcı opened the scoring just before half-time, heading his side ahead in the 45th minute. Kasımpaşa responded after the break, with Rak-Sakyi finding the net in the 68th minute to bring the visitors level.

The momentum shifted again when Galatasaray midfielder Lucas Torreira was sent off in the 65th minute, leaving the hosts with ten men. Despite their numerical disadvantage, Galatasaray pushed forward and restored their lead through Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 90th minute. Mario Lemina added a third deep into stoppage time to seal the win.

Rak-Sakyi’s goal was his first in the league this season. The winger has made three Süper Lig appearances, scoring once, and will be encouraged by his contribution in Istanbul.

Kasımpaşa, who sit ninth in the table, will aim to respond when they host Samsunspor in their next league fixture on October 18. Rak-Sakyi will hope to build on Friday’s goal and help his side return to winning ways.
