Nollywood actress and producer Toyosi Adesanya has opened up about her 15-year struggle with conception during her first marriage, describing her present marriage to Ajibola Oyin Adejobi as a blessing after years of waiting and uncertainty.

Adesanya shared her experience during an interview on Oyinmomo TV on Friday, October 9, 2026, where she reflected on her marital journey, the challenges she experienced in her first marriage and how she eventually found a partner with whom she began a new chapter of her life.

The actress revealed that she spent 15 years in her first marriage without being able to conceive, describing the experience as a lengthy period that preceded her eventual marriage to Adejobi, whom she said she married six years ago.

Recounting her experience, Adesanya said, “For 15 years, I was married without being able to conceive. So God crowned my effort with the husband I married 6 years ago, Ajibola Oyin Adejobi.”

Her statement highlighted the significance she attaches to her present marriage after the years she spent hoping to conceive during her previous union. She attributed the change in her marital circumstances to God’s intervention, describing her husband as a blessing after a prolonged period of waiting.
