As I meandered through twisting cobbled lanes of the ancient city that was enthusiastically championed prior to my arrival, I found myself somewhat underwhelmedPlanning a trip to one of the UK’s most beautiful cities filled me with excitement, but it also raised the underlying question of whether it would really live up to its reputation.
