According to a report by The Punch on Saturday, October 10, 2026, fresh off her historic victory, 21-year-old Temitope Chibue, popularly known as Temi Nkem, has broken her silence on how she triumphed in the Big Brother Naija Season 11 “Show Ya Sef” house.

As the youngest-ever winner of the reality TV show, the accounting and finance graduate admitted that coming from the UK made many write off her chances. However, she turned doubt into fuel.

“Coming to the show from abroad, they tell you that you don’t really have a chance of winning,” Temi shared.

“So, that kind of dawned on me. As I was hearing that, I was thinking, ‘You know what? I might as well just have fun.’ The show is called ‘Show Yourself’, so I might as well still show myself. And guess what? I still won.”

Addressing her strategy, the Delta State indigene noted that she simply stayed true to herself and focused on having fun, despite initially fearing she was just sleeping too much.

Her standout moment came when she clinched her first-ever BET Power Friday Night Arena game, a milestone that boosted her confidence.

With a massive cash prize and a brand-new SUV in her kitty, Temi shared clear plans for her wealth. Armed with her treasury background, she intends to invest heavily to grow her funds, secure her future education, and give back to her supporters.

“I’m going to invest it, and at the same time, I’m also going to invest in my future. I’m also going to give some to my parents. I’m going to spoil them a little bit,” she stated.

Rather than jetting straight back to London, Temi plans to stay in Nigeria and tour Africa for the next two years to connect deeply with her roots, the people, and the food.

While her father remains in the UK working to provide for the family, her mother managed to pull off a surprise appearance during the finale to support her.

Looking ahead, the new reality TV star is keeping her cards close to her chest regarding brand partnerships and romance, maintaining that her focus remains squarely on building her brand, education, and career.
