Five people were found dead in a remote Georgia home as the Peach State grapples with its third mass shooting in three weekends.

The tragedy is suspected to be a murder suicide after a man reportedly fired bullets at four others before taking his own life in a house in Douglas – less than 80 miles north of the Florida border.

Cops said all five victims were found with gunshot wounds around 11.09pm Friday after responding ‘to a report of shots fired.’

One of the victim’s wounds was self-inflicted, according to the Douglas Police Department . All five victims, who remain unidentified, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The house is located on Robin Lane on the southside of the Touchton Woods neighborhood.

It is the third mass shooting in Georgia over the course of three back-to-back weekends.

Earlier this month, police arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a Vienna shooting that left two dead and injured 35 others.

In late September, an 18th birthday celebration turned into a shootout, leaving 12 injured in Macon.

The Daily Mail contacted the Douglas Police Department for comment.
