Tributes have poured in following the death of Freddie Foreman.Kray Twins enforcer Freddie Foreman, often described as the ‘Godfather of Crime’ has died aged 94. Foreman, known widely as ‘The Guv’nor’ and ‘Brown Bread Fred’ – cockney rhyming slang for the word ‘dead’ – was an enforcer for the Krays, as well as a minder for 1950s gang boss Billy ‘King of the Underworld’ Hill.
