Former Ghana U17 star Frederick Acheampong joins Al-Jubail Sporting Club

The former Black Starlets attacking wing-forward has completed his switch to the Saudi second division campaigners in this ongoing football season

Saudi First Division club Al-Jubail Sporting Club have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Frederick Acheampong for their 2026-27 campaign.

The 30-year-old nimble footed wide-man is linking up with the Jubail-based club on a free transfer after leaving fellow second-tier outfit Najran SC this summer.

Those campaigning for the Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Sports City Stadium announced the capture of the former Kumasi Rainbow FC product through their micro-blogging platforms, with a confirming from their lnstagram Handle reading as: ”Hey Frederick! The Ghanaian striker joins the ranks of Jabeel Club.”

The skillful attacking forward currently boasts of an enviable CV in his football career across Europe and the Middle East, with spells with NK Sesvete, NK Dugopolje, Södertälje FK, Angered BK, Västra Frölunda IF, FC Trollhättan, Budaiya SC, Al-Jeel and Arar FC already enjoyed so far at club level.

Federick is the younger brother of Ghana international winger Frank Acheampong and both were nurtured at Ashanti Region based Football Club Kumasi Rainbow FC (Lazio FC).
