Forecast Video 10-10-2026

The dry and pleasant stretch will continue into the start of the weekend. For today, expect increasing high level clouds with highs near 70 degrees. For the fifth straight week, Sunday will feature rainfall. The rain will be due to the remnants, or leftovers, of what was Hurricane Isaias, which will make landfall near Pensacola Florida Friday night as the first hurricane of the Atlantic season. The leftover moisture will arrive here on Sunday and continue into Sunday night, with generally 1″to 1.5″ of rain is expected to make for another gloomy Sunday. While we will mostly dry out next week, a cold front could produce a few showers as it passes late Tuesday or Tuesday night, with another shot of some chilly and brisk air arriving for the second half of next week. So, while highs will be around or above the 70° mark through early next week (with the exception of our damp Sunday), much cooler highs closer to 60 degrees return by the end of the week.
