Nollywood actress Omotola Ekeinde has reacted to the sudden resurgence of her old interviews on social media, questioning why blogs have been revisiting conversations she had years ago.

The veteran actress has recently been making headlines as several old interviews in which she discussed her marriage, family and acting career continue to circulate online.

Addressing the trend in a social media post, Omotola expressed surprise at the attention her past interviews have been receiving. She also criticised blogs for using catchy headlines to draw attention to the old clips.

According to the actress, she rarely grants interviews, making it surprising to see conversations from 10 to 15 years ago being brought back into the spotlight.

She wrote, “What’s with all these blogs posting old interviews of me? Even from as far back as 15/10 years ago.

I don’t grant many interviews, so you go resurrecting old ones and adding spicy clickbait headlines?

Omotola’s message has since drawn attention to the renewed interest in her past interviews, with the actress hinting that fans could see more of her in December.
