Delhi Court: No Bail Cancellation for Sharjeel Imam as He Prepares to Surrender

Imam’s counsel denied the allegations, saying that he had not used social media, given any interview or interacted with any mediaperson.New Delhi: A Delhi court on Saturday held that student activist Sharjeel Imam, accused in the 2020 northeast Delhi riots larger conspiracy case, “apparently flouted” a condition of his interim bail by coming in contact with the media, but refused to cancel the bail as he was already on his way to surrender.
