Follow Daily Mail Sport’s live blog for updates as Chelsea host Bournemouth in the Premier League, with updates from across the other 3pm fixtures.
Chelsea have got Martinez to thank. Truffert unlocked the Blus defence with a scissoring pass in behind, and Rayan was through on goal, but the Argentinian was rapid off his line to drawn out the winger. The ball fell to Christie, but Martinez was back on his feet fast to stop him too. Decisive work from the custodian.
The home fans are annoyed at how long Michael Kayode takes to prepare his long-throws for Brentford. I have to say the five-second countdown rule has been used pretty loosely this season. It tends to go five, four, three, two…………… one…………….. Much longer than five seconds, let’s say.
Ouch, that hurt Caicedo. He's grimacing but carrying on, should be ok. He went crunching in for a tackle, but Palmer collided with Christie just before it, tripping up the midfielder, and he went crashing into Caicedo's legs. Not what the Ecuadorian needed on his return from injury! But he should be ok.
A moment of panic for Bourneouth as Petrovic spills a cross from Chavarria, and it could land anywhere. Rogers finds himself in the right place at the right time, but with the wrong idea: he tries to dribble the ball around the black and red wall and runs into trouble, his touch not deft enough. The visitors win it back and survive. Petrovic's blushes are spared.
Jordan Henderson is fuming that Chelsea haven't been given a corner there. After his toe-poke towards the top corner, from the edge of the area, went wide, he ran over complaining to the referee… but the goal kick was awarded.
Bournemouth closed ranks well at the back to deny Palmer just before that. If only they'd been so solid in the first three minutes.
The game has definitely quietened down a bit. Perhaps the hosts will just be happy with a first clean sheet since January from here.
The precise timings of Chelsea's two goals are:
Interestingly, I didn't spy much of a wild celebration from Xabi Alonso for either goal. Perhaps he is remembering in the back of his mind that his side haven't kept a clean sheet in the Premier League since January 17. Bournemouth are certainly seeing more of the ball now.
After that woeful start, Bournemouth have grown into this one. They've had long passages in control of the ball and one shot but it has been sparse in terms of chances. Still, you wouldn't think they were 2-0 down. They've not been woeful, but they do need to be more urgent.
Two in 90 seconds. Brentford catch Villa trying to play out – Mings gives the ball away, leading to Yarmoliuk goal. Less than two minutes later, Buendia’s deflected shot lands kindly for Jackson, who finishes tidily.
That's a lovely goal by Nicolas Jackson. Lightning-fats reactions to control the ball in the area, keep it up, and prod it past Kelleher at the near post.
Yarmolyuk has done something quite impressive: he's beat Zion Suzuki.
From the edge of the area, he has his second goal in 116 games for the Bees, having got it past Aston Villa's in-form goalkeeper.
With no Mikkel Damsgaard, Keane Lewis-Potter is playing as a No10 for Brentford – having played left-back in the 3-0 win over Chelsea before the break. Just now, Jannik Schuster’s underhit backpass nearly let in Nicolas Jackson for Villa.
This is ridiculous! Talk about fast starts. Chelsea are 2-0 up! Morgan Rogers with a deflected strike, or actually, it's an own goal for Silva. This is ravenous.
