CCTV Handed Over – Two Women Abducted From Sandton Club – SAPS Investigates

Two young women’s terrifying accounts of their detention and abduction after a nite on the town in Sandton have South Africans on high alert. According to the two, a man and his entourage of bodyguards abducted them in the wee hours of Saturday, 4 October 2026, and held them against their will inside a popular nightclub.

Their story goes like this: the women were locked in a private lounge and then forcibly taken to a Centurion property. Their harrowing ordeal, which has caused widespread outrage online and begs the question of public safety, began when they were locked in the house and unable to leave or call for help.

Subsequently, the ladies formally reported the incident to the SAPS Sandton. The Okio club’s management has also taken action, stating that the facility has turned over all uncut CCTV footage to the police to aid in their investigation.

After hearing about the case, many people spoke out about their own experiences and demanded that women be better protected while they sleep. A number of people have demanded an open and quick investigation, wondering how this could happen in a bustling entertainment district. More than just a case, the story has sparked a national dialog about responsibility, safety, and the critical need for answers as police seek to piece together the facts and determine who is at fault.

Briefly.co.za reports that Sandton’s kidnapping and subsequent ordeal has been recounted by women in a video.
