CAF partially lifts National Sports Stadium ban, allows 10,000 fans

THE Confederation of African Football (CAF) has partially lifted restrictions on spectators at the National Sports Stadium, allowing a maximum of 10,000 fans to attend selected matches under strict conditions.The development comes after Zimbabwe was ordered to play its next home international behind closed doors following the death of a football fan and post-match pitch invasion at the Warriors’ 2-1 defeat to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) at the venue last month.
