Brit cruise passenger evacuated from ship and airlifted to hospital after ‘medical emergency’ off coast of Spain

A BRIT tourist has been rescued from a cruise and airlifted to hospital after a “medical emergency” was declared on board.The man, 82, was whisked off by a Spanish coastgaurd helicopter after officials sent out an alert for an immediate evacuation.The luxury liner – named Celebrity Apex – had been travelling from Southampton to Leixoes near Porto in Portugal.
