Benue APC Supporters Injured in Road Accident on Way to Tinubu Rally

Several members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Benue State have sustained injuries after a bus conveying them to the party’s North-Central mega rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, was involved in a head-on collision on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

The accident occurred within Lafia, a few kilometres from the venue of the rally organised in support of President Bola Tinubu.

The injured supporters were reportedly evacuated to hospitals in Lafia for medical attention. However, the exact number of people injured had not been confirmed at the time of reporting.

Dan-Morgan Ihomun, publicity secretary of the Austin Agada-led APC faction in Benue State, confirmed the incident, stating that no lives were lost.

According to Ihomun, the crash involved two vehicles, while the injured passengers were taken to hospital for treatment.

The incident disrupted the journey of the Benue supporters who were travelling to attend the political gathering in Nasarawa State.
