BAR VS GET: Barcelona Official Starting Line-up Against Getafe
According to a report by Barca Universal on Saturday October 10, 2026, Barcelona return to action tonight after a three-week break as they host Getafe in La Liga at the Spotify Camp Nou, with Hansi Flick’s side aiming to maintain their perfect league record.
The Catalan giants have won all seven of their opening league matches and will be determined to extend that impressive run while increasing the pressure on title rivals Real Madrid.
Ahead of kickoff, Flick has confirmed his starting lineup, with summer signing Gabriel Jesus receiving his first start of the season. The Brazilian forward replaces injured captain Raphinha in the centre-forward position.
Jesus will lead Barcelona’s attack alongside Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon, who are expected to provide support from the wings against Jose Bordalas’ Getafe side.
In midfield, Flick has decided to rest Pedri, with Gavi taking his place alongside Rodri in the centre of the pitch. Dani Olmo has also been selected ahead of Fermin Lopez in the attacking midfield role.
Barcelona have made changes to their defensive setup, with Pau Cubarsi dropping to the bench. Eric Garcia and Jules Kounde have both been named in the starting lineup, with one expected to operate at right-back while the other partners Gerard Martin at centre-back.
Xavi Espart retains his place at left-back, starting ahead of Alejandro Balde and Joao Cancelo after recently signing a new contract with the club.
Meanwhile, first-choice goalkeeper Joan Garcia returns to the starting lineup after missing Barcelona’s previous match against Sevilla because of an injury, providing Flick with a boost ahead of the encounter.
