Arsenal Player Ratings vs Leeds: Guimaraes and Calafiori Shine in 2-1 Comeback Win

According to a report by the Evening Standard on Saturday, October 10, 2026, Riccardo Calafiori, Noni Madueke and Bruno Guimaraes were among Arsenal’s standout performers as the Gunners came from behind to defeat Leeds United 2-1 in the Premier League.

Arsenal initially struggled to find their rhythm after the three-week international break, with several players failing to produce their usual level during the first half. However, Mikel Arteta’s side improved after the interval, with Calafiori equalising before substitute Guimaraes scored the decisive goal.

Goalkeeper David Raya received a rating of 7/10 after making important saves to deny Gabriel Gudmundsson and Ao Tanaka. His distribution also helped Arsenal, although he could not prevent James Justin from scoring for Leeds.

Ben White earned 6/10, having struggled with the timing of his forward runs early in the match. However, his header across goal created the opportunity for Calafiori to equalise. Gabriel also received 6/10 after attempting to prevent Justin’s effort from crossing the line, although he was less assured in possession.

Calafiori was one of Arsenal’s best players, earning 8/10 for his attacking contribution from left-back. He repeatedly moved forward to create opportunities for Bukayo Saka and Madueke before scoring the equaliser from close range.

Declan Rice and Myles Lewis-Skelly both received 6/10. Rice struggled with his passing and defensive positioning for much of the contest but produced an excellent flick to assist Guimaraes for the winner. Lewis-Skelly completed 94 per cent of his passes, although his overall influence was considered limited.

Saka received 5/10 after struggling to make the desired impact in attack. Despite contributing to the move that produced the winning goal, he missed an opportunity when clean through in the final moments. Martin Odegaard earned 6/10 after improving following a difficult first half.

Madueke was another standout performer, receiving 8/10 for his dangerous runs down the left flank and contribution to Arsenal’s equaliser. Kai Havertz, meanwhile, received 4/10 after struggling to influence the game and repeatedly being caught offside.

Among the substitutes, Guimaraes earned 8/10 after increasing Arsenal’s attacking intensity and producing an excellent finish. Jurrien Timber received 6/10, while Piero Hincapie earned 7/10 for an important late clearance. Viktor Gyokeres was rated 6/10, while Mikel Merino did not play long enough to receive a rating.

The comeback secured three points for Arsenal, with Calafiori and Guimaraes making decisive contributions after Justin had put Leeds ahead.
