Nollywood actress and producer, Toyosi Adesanya, has revealed that she underwent at least five surgeries in 2022 after meeting her husband, Ajibola Oyin Adejobi, while recounting her struggles with conception and pregnancy loss.

Adesanya disclosed this during an interview on Oyinmomo TV on Friday, October 9, 2026, where she spoke about the medical challenges she experienced in her journey to conceive and the difficult moments she endured after meeting her husband.

The actress explained that she underwent several surgical procedures in 2022, a period that also saw her experience a miscarriage after becoming pregnant.

“After I met him, Atleast I did 5 surgeries in 2022. I got pregnant and miscarried, I had another surgery,” she said.

Her account highlights the physical and emotional difficulties she faced while trying to conceive, including the disappointment of losing a pregnancy after finally becoming pregnant.

Adesanya had previously revealed that she spent 15 years in her first marriage without being able to conceive. She described her marriage to Adejobi, whom she married six years ago, as a blessing after the challenges she had experienced.

The actress has also spoken about the support she received from Adejobi during her medical struggles, revealing that he stood by her through several surgeries and difficult moments.

According to her, the procedures became so frequent that her doctor eventually advised her to stop undergoing further surgeries. She also recounted an occasion when a surgery reportedly left her in a coma, causing her husband to become frightened.
