Weekend trading in the Aboki market stayed thinner than on a normal weekday. However, street dealers in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt still quoted the US dollar on Saturday, 10 October 2026, at roughly ₦1,365 to ₦1,375 when buying cash from customers and ₦1,380 to ₦1,390 when selling.

That puts $100 at about ₦136,500–₦137,500 for anyone handing dollars to a dealer and close to ₦138,000–₦139,000 for anyone needing the same amount. The Central Bank of Nigeria’s last published official foreign exchange market rate closed Friday near ₦1,331 per dollar, so the informal premium sat around ₦49 to ₦59, or about 4 per cent.

Friday’s session had already shown a slightly softer naira on the street, and Saturday quotes largely held that band rather than reversing it, with cash demand from travellers lighter than midweek importer demand. External reserves were last reported near $54.9 billion, and oil receipts have continued to support official liquidity, though the formal window does not trade on Saturday.

Quotes still differed by location and deal size, and operators said the informal rate could still move before business resumes on Monday. The gap between the official window and the parallel market has stayed comparatively tight by recent standards.

Yet, cash deals outside the banking system remain the practical reference for many people who cannot obtain dollars at the CBN rate. Anyone planning an exchange was advised to confirm the live figure with a trusted bureau, because weekend prices are not uniform and can shift with local supply.
